Refund Policy

Effective September 8, 2026

1. Try before you pay

Every new shop gets a 14-day free trial with full access — no card required, and nothing is charged until you choose a plan. If Dukaan Register isn't right for your shop, simply don't subscribe; the trial ends on its own and you're never billed.

2. Subscription billing

Starter and Growth are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, Paddle, who acts as the merchant of record for your subscription. Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel.

3. Cancelling

Cancel any time from Settings → Billing → "Manage payment method & invoices," which opens Paddle's secure customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep full access until then, and your shop's data is never deleted for cancelling.

4. Refunds

Because every subscription starts with a full 14-day free trial, we don't offer refunds for unused time on a billing period you decide to cancel partway through — you can always avoid a charge in the first place by cancelling before the trial ends or before your next renewal date.

We do issue a full refund when:

  • You were charged in error (a duplicate charge, or billed after a cancellation we failed to process in time).
  • A technical fault on our side prevented you from using the plan you paid for, and we couldn't fix it promptly.
  • A refund is required by the law of your country or Paddle's own buyer protection terms as merchant of record.

5. How to request one

Email support@dukaanregister.com. Tell us the shop name and roughly when the charge happened; we review every request and reply within 2 business days. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via Paddle, typically within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

6. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to how refunds work, we'll notify you by email or an in-app notice before they take effect.
